CAKES
We include a complimentary wedding cake of basic design with every wedding package
Each cake can be classified in terms of flavor, filling, size and layers, design as outlined below
We strongly recommend decorating with fresh flowers.  Most cakes require only a minimal number of stems which we will arrange at no charge.

Flavors available for complimentary cakes
Chablis Cake… a white cake that incorporates white wine in the mix for a rich flavor and moist texture
Chocolate Cake… a devils food style mix
Marble Cake… a blend of 2/3 chablis cake swirled with 1/3 chocolate cake
Black & White… each cake contains one layer of white chablis cake and one layer of devils food chocolate cake

Additional Cost of $2.50 per person
Carrot Cake… a moist, flavorful homemade carrot cake without nuts or fruit (raisins)
Cheesecake… our creamy style signature cheesecake… this cake must be presented on separate pedestals
Death by Chocolate flourless chocolate cake with ganache and sugared fruit
Rum Cake made with dark rum

Icing:
A buttercream style icing that is stabilized for presentation in the dining room (refrigeration not needed during the event) is complimentary.  The decoration is limited to borders, dot patterns or simple swags

Design:
Complimentary cakes are 3 layers either on separate pedestals or stacked without pillars

Additonal layers (maximum 5 layers) $30 per layer
Different flavors for each layer of cake (for example: one layer of carrot cake, one layer of chocolate) $30 for two flavors, $45 for three
Stacked with pillars between layers $25
Set on large pillars above fountain with tinted water $45
Layered with strawberries $40
Layered with raspberries $50
Layered with lemon, lime or orange curd $40
Cream cheese icing $75... will not allow for a smooth surface
Chocolate ganache Icing $75
Layered with chocolate mousse $50
Basketweave or other complex icing design $75 (not available for cream cheese icing)
Basic icing design, swags or dots $25
Pearl white Beads to highlight the icing design $40
Ribbon banding $20
Odd shapes (other than round) including square, heart, octagonal etc. $25 per layer
Assembly, storage, maintenance or reconstruction of any cake brought in to the restaurant $40
A typical cake has two layers inside each tier of the cake… additional layers are $15 each
Any coloration of icing in the decoration $40

Items we do not offer
Sugar or royal icing flowers or designs
Strict buttercream icing (it will not hold up in the dining room)
Rolled fondant icing (refrigerated marble table needed for proper production)

Creamy Cheesecake... in phyllo cups
Carrot Cake...individual squares with cream cheese icing
zucchini bread pudding... rich zucchini bread infused with cognac cream sauce

Hot Apple Crisp... apples baked with cinnamon, nutmeg and topped with an oatmeal crisp topping
Chocolate jumbos... light but richly flavored chocolate cookies
Strawberries dipped in Chocolate drizzled with white chocolate
Russian Tea Cookies... nut filled ball-shaped cookies dusted with powdered sugar
